Maritime Museum Virtual Tour

This is a virtual tour of the RNLI Henry Blogg museum situated right on the beach front at Cromer. The museum is a fascinating history of the lifeboats and crew that worked out of the seaside town and tells the story of Henry Blogg, the most decorated RNLI crew member.

The virtual tour captures this perfectly, with a fully immersive tour which allows you to walkthrough the museum from the comfort of your own home. The addition of ‘mattertags’ are a really great feature for a tour of this nature. A tag is essentially a physical link which people can interact with as they walk through a room.  Perfect for a museum as you explore each part of it you can have informative tags that explain what each section or is, and as well as a virtual tour you have a virtual tour guide.

Sounds great right? Thats because it is! Contact us if you’d like a fully immersive virtual tour for your property/business.

Ilfracombe RNLI Virtual Tour | RNLI

North Devon based Ilfracombe RNLI are the charity that save lives at sea. Their new £2.2m lifeboat was funded entirely by donations and is capable of 25 knots, allowing their volunteer crew to reach those in distress more quickly and safely than the previous boat.

The station wanted to increase awareness of coastal safety, along with highlighting the lifesaving work of their volunteer crews. This is where Panoptic came in.

We completed a fully interactive virtual tour of the lifeboat station. Using our cutting-edge scanning technology, a full 3D model of the station and boats was produced. Perfect if you want to look around the boat but don’t want to get wet!

From standing on the inshore D-class lifeboat, to climbing down to the engine room of the Shannon lifeboat, you get a fantastic behind the scenes look at all the kit and tech used by the RNLI.
