We were approached by David Wilson Homes to create a series of interactive virtual tours for their new show homes on their development sites. This Matterport virtual house viewing was created at one of David Wilson Homes’ latest development sites in Salisbury.
We have been working closely with David Wilson Homes for a few years and have covered their development sites all over the South West and the Southern regions.
The Matterport 360 Virtual Tour technology allows us to gain a stunning insight into each show home and easily share this with potential homeowners in a variety of ways.
Along with the fluid virtual walkthrough model, we can easily create photo realistic 3D dollshouse views and floor plans, which allows you to interact in a completely new, exciting and unrivalled format for your audience.
The walkthroughs are also compatible with virtual reality goggles which is an exciting way to view the spaces and their potential clients/customers love interacting with the homes in this unique way.
The addition of ‘mattertags’ allow us to ‘tag’ up rooms. A tag is essentially a physical link which people can interact with as they walk through a room. These link back to webpages, for example giving the customer more information on the property through the use of video, pictures and webpages etc. its also a great way to link directly straight to a booking page for the show home itself.
Viewing the property from anywhere in the world means your potential customers aren’t at risk when coming to a construction site to view their new home, simply send them the link and eliminate any risk!
The virtual walkthroughs or ‘tours’ will be primarily used on the David Wilson website but can also be shared easily on social media and sent simply via email.
