We were approached by Barratt Homes to create a series of interactive virtual tours for their new show homes on their development sites. This 360 new build tour was created at one of Barratt’s latest development sites near Gloucester.
Barratt Homes needed an exciting and engaging way to show off the internal spaces of their homes in a way that traditional photography could not achieve.
Panoramas, virtual tours, photography & videos have been around for years, however we can now create fully immersive 360 virtual tours in high resolution HDR, with clear perspective and definition that allows your customers to get a feel for your location within the comfort of their own home.
The addition of ‘mattertags’ allow us to ‘tag’ up rooms. A tag is essentially a physical link which people can interact with as they walk through a room. These link back to webpages, for example giving the customer more information on the property through the use of video, pictures and webpages etc. its also a great way to link directly straight to a booking page for the show home itself.
The virtual walkthroughs or ‘tours’ will be primarily used on the Barratt website but can also be shared easily on social media and sent simply via email, via its’ unique URL.
We have future proofed the service by ensuring it is ready to be converted for use on Virtual reality (VR) Headsets. This also allows you to take your models with you to shows and fairs.
