We were approached by David Wilson Homes to create a series of interactive virtual tours for their new show homes on their development sites. This new build virtual walkthrough was created at Great Oldbury Grove Lane, one of David Wilson Homes’ latest development sites just outside of Gloucester.
The virtual walkthroughs or ‘tours’ created will primarily be used on the David Wilson website but can also be shared easily on websites such as Rightmove, Facebook, Instagram etc. It’s just as easy to share with friends and family via email or social media platforms, simply share the unique URL link and let the whole family view the home alongside you.
The Matterport 360 Virtual Tour technology allows us to gain a stunning insight into each show home and easily share this with potential homeowners in a variety of ways.
The addition of ‘mattertags’ allow us to ‘tag’ up rooms. A tag is essentially a physical link which people can interact with as they walk through a room. These link back to webpages, for example giving the customer more information on the property through the use of video, pictures and webpages etc. its also a great way to link directly straight to a booking page for the show home itself.
Viewing the property from anywhere in the world means your potential customers aren’t at risk when coming to a construction site to view their new home, simply send them the link and eliminate any risk! Easily show customers the home, through tours such as this new build virtual walkthrough, from the safety of the site office, you no longer need to take unwanted trips onto the construction site to view the clients potential home, simply show them the virtual tour of the house or show home plot they are interested in and remove all health and safety risks from not walking through a live site.
