We were approached by David Wilson Homes to create a series of interactive virtual tours for their new show homes on their development sites. This new build Matterport tour was created at New Mill Quarter, one of David Wilson Homes’ latest development sites in London.
David Wilson Homes needed an exciting and engaging way to show off the internal spaces of their homes in a way that traditional photography could not achieve.
These virtual walkthroughs or ‘tours’, like this new build Matterport tour, will be primarily used on the David Wilson website but can also be shared easily on social media and sent simply via email.
The Matterport 360 Virtual Tour technology allows us to gain a stunning insight into each show home and easily share this with potential homeowners in a variety of ways.
The addition of ‘mattertags’ allow us to ‘tag’ up rooms. A tag is essentially a physical link which people can interact with as they walk through a room. These link back to webpages, for example giving the customer more information on the property through the use of video, pictures and webpages etc. its also a great way to link directly straight to a booking page for the show home itself.
Along with the fluid virtual walkthrough model, we can easily create photo realistic 3D dollshouse views and floor plans, which allows you to interact in a completely new, exciting and unrivalled format for your audience.
