The Old Rectory Hotel is a stylish boutique hotel based on the beautiful exmoor coastline in a small village called Martinhoe. Surrounded by amazing coastal walks and hidden coves, we made it a priority of ours to include as much of this as possible when we producing this promotional video.
Alongside this we included many internal and external angles of the rooms and gardens on the ground partnering the epic drone footage of the coast. Having such an array of stylish rooms and tables made it a dream to focus on the lifestyle shots needed to promote these spaces, including the chefs specials and the long list of gins that were readily available to guests.
The client was over the moon with the final product and really enjoyed the features showcasing the surrounding areas, giving visitors an idea of what to do when they arrive at the boutique hotel. The main request from the client was setting the location, portraying the hotel amongst the coastline and the proximity to the nearby coastal paths. We easily combated these issues with the use of our offshore RIB that we are able to launch our specialist drones from at any location we chose when out at sea. If we didn’t have the ability to do this, the video would simply not be the same and the beautiful angles will be missed out!
