Royal Marines Promotional Video

As part of our ongoing contract with the Royal Marines we are routinely asked to provide footage of craft trials for analysis. On this particular occasion we were tasked to provide practical footage during craft trials of the Marines Offshore raiding craft. The unit we work for are the Royal Marines Craft Trials and Training Wing in North Devon. They challenged us to show off their capabilities and produce a short promotional video for use when they have visitors to the base.

Using our especially equipped Film Boat allows us to launch our drones in a safe area. This enables us to work within the many rules and regulations imposed on us by the CAA as a commercial operator. Using our RIB allows us to track the target vessel keeping within the 500M Max distance. It also removes the need for creating sterile areas from which would normally be the case. Special thanks to the Marines and HollyHead Marine for allowing us to use some of the clips for our own promotional purposes.

We utilise drones as our main aerial systems, however we can offer cable camera systems, vehicle mounted, and standalone mast systems. No matter what angle you need, we’ve got you covered. This is what made this video so special and unique as it not only showcases the holiday home but also the beautiful gardens and the surrounding areas through the use of our aerial systems.

Aerial Footage adds extra depth to your video content. Aerial shots tend to hold viewers attention for longer on social media, as it’s a view they haven’t seen before and everyone loves a drone shot, right?

Looking at this aerial footage has reinforced my opinion that footage like this to record trials is absolutely essential to move forward and deliver a quality report and record of the trials. We have never been able to capture footage like this and believe its invaluable for us on so many levels. Its also my belief that this is essential to our business output and remaining credible.
