Award winning photographer Rhian White contacted us requesting if we could help her create a promotional video for her dog photography business. Obviously we jumped at the opportunity, as what’s better than spending the day at the beach with a handful of dogs?
The shoot took place at Saunton Sands beach in North Devon and although it was far from perfect weather the moody skies made for some beautifully dramatic photos and video. Rhian wanted a few short and punchy videos for her social media accounts as well as a promotional video for her centre piece on her website.
We were able to work extremely effeicnelty on this shoot, because just like Rhian we had no idea what the dogs next move would be. To be able to work with a camera in hand allowed us to move freely and capture the fast paced action easily and not miss an important piece of footage due to fixing tripods or changing lens etc. We also used the drone to capture the emotion in the foreground and set the scene from a distance while showcasing the beautiful scenery.
