‘Give Peas A Chance’ – Newquay Social

We were contacted by our good friends at Surfing England, who needed our help to create a series of short promotional videos for their brand collaboration with the organic chickpea chip company Hippeas. Featured, is one of the short films of the series shot at Newquay.

The brief for these short videos in the series, Give Peas a Chance, was to highlight the lifestyles of your average surfer and the day to day activities they partake in, featuring alongside the Hippeas brand of crisps.

We shot from many different angles, locations and styles throughout the promotional videos to which keep the viewer engaged throughout. The promotional videos were filmed over a period of two days, covering some of the best beaches throughout the country.

We wanted to create a story which follows the path of this new and exciting brand of chips from beach to beach, and surfer to surfer, including as many different locations and people as possible, in an aim to portray a community feel that surrounds the surfing lifestyle and the chips themselves.

Using our state-of-the-art drones and camera-mounts enabled us to get a handful of awesome and unseen angles of the beaches, whilst gaining unique bird’s-eye views of the surfers and the Hippeas van, allowing the outstanding view to feel part of the journey.

Aerial footage adds extra depth to your video content which tends to hold the viewers attention for longer, leaving them more interested into researching more about the product you’re trying to promote.

Alongside this, video is a perfect way of instantly increasing your social media reach and improve your conversion rate through online traffic on your webpages. Video audiences keep getting bigger and bigger each year, don’t wait until its too late!
