On June 29th – 30th 2019, the Adaptive Surf Championships 2019 were held at Fistral Beach, Newquay, hosted by Surfing England.
When asked by Surfing England whether we would be interested in being involved to produce a short film for the championship, it was a no-brainer and we were absolutely thrilled!
The weekend consisted of adaptive surfers, with varying a range of disabilities, united in a common love for surfing. The surfers competed for open & national surfing titles, whilst most importantly having fun throughout the weekend. There were a number of categories that the surfers were involved in, including: Assisted; Prone; Sitting/Kneeling; Standing, Men’s Open & Women’s Open. The conditions were absolutely perfect for across the weekend, with fun waves coming in throughout.
With the use of our state-of-the-art drones and high-tech camera systems, we were able to capture the most momentous and exciting moments throughout the weekend – memories that will be worth looking back upon for years to come.
Using drones to capture aerial footage from angles inaccessible from land, controlled by our fully-licensed drone pilots, meant that we were able to capture the surfers and the action from such unique and personal positions.
We’ve been up and down the country covering countless types of events, everything from Surf Competitions, Sports Car Functions and Music Festivals. Having spent so much time capturing unique events we’ve established a great feel for exactly what works and what is needed to produce a stunning events film to serve your exact needs.
