We were approached by David Wilson Homes to create a series of interactive virtual tours for their new show homes on their development sites. This Newbury interactive virtual tour was created at one of David Wilson’s latest development sites at Newbury Racecourse.
David Wilson Homes needed an exciting and engaging way to show off the internal spaces of their homes in a way that traditional photography could not achieve.
We use the very latest Matterport software to produce the smoothest and most seamless virtual tours on the market.
The addition of ‘mattertags’ allow us to ‘tag’ up rooms. A tag is essentially a physical link which people can interact with as they walk through a room. These link back to webpages, for example giving the customer more information on the property through the use of video, pictures and webpages etc. its also a great way to link directly straight to a booking page for the show home itself.
We have future proofed the service by ensuring it is ready to be converted for use on Virtual reality (VR) Headsets. This also allows you to take your models with you to shows and fairs.
The virtual walkthroughs or ‘tours’ created for David wilson Homes will be primarily used on the David Wilson website but can also be shared easily on social media and sent simply via email, using its unique URL code.
