Through our continued sponsorship of Barnstaple Rugby Club we were asked to produce a rugby game video showcasing a typical match day experience encompassing the entire day, training, pre and post-match in order to create a promotional video.
We used a mixture of static ground shots, Ronin-M steadi-cam, drone and mast shots to capture the true spirit of a match day at Barnstaple Rugby Club. We wanted to showcase the full experience in order for the club to entice new sponsors to the club and promote the club.
Its really important to showcase everything when shooting a sporting event such as rugby to get a true representation of what happened at the event such as the atmosphere, the fans and the speed of the game itself, which cannot be protrayed through standard still photography.
